How can I test to see if my computer(ecm/ecu/pcm) is bad in my 1994 Dodge Dakota v8?
Answer: Yes and No. You could buy the cable and the
software to read your ECM on your laptop, but the cost would be much
more than that of just bringing it to the dealer and letting them
diagnose it for you. The only other option would be find a owner of a
similar vehicle (through a car club perhaps) who has all the hardware and software.
