I can’t turn my Cadillac 2003 CTS wipers off and the intermittent part of the wipers do not work anymore. Any specialty tools I need?

Answer: Hi there. You won’t have a hard time doing this believe me. 

Here are the things that you need:
-Socket and Ratchet Set
-Screwdriver
-1/4 in. Drive Ratchet
-Multimeter
-Test Light

The parts you need would probably cost you $120 (wiper switch).

Here’s how to do it:

1. Provide power to all interior accessories.

2. Turn on the wiper switch.

3. For proper operation,inspect the wipers while selecting different speeds.

4. Turn the key to the off position. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the switch.

6. Replace the old switch with a new switch.

7. Connect the wiring harness to the new switch

8. Connect the negative battery cable.

9. Test the wiper switch.
