| 2000 Volkswagen New Beetle |
I have a 2000 New Beetle. When I turn the
wheel in any direction, it’s began to make a “growling” sound. Not
scraping, but also not that typical “power steering” sound you normally
hear. Any guesses on what’s wrong? It seems to get worse the longer I
drive it in a day.
Answer: Check the fluid in the power steering box.If that is good, have the steering linkages looked at, there may be something binding up
