2006 Nissan Navara D40 |
I have changed the battery in both fobs, and still find that problems when trying to lock and unlock my car, even it doesn’t work all the time. I am wondering if there is a simple explanation or a more in depth answer to solve the problem?
Answer: Are the batteries
good? Just because they’re new, doesn’t mean they’re strong. Has the
fob been dropped a lot? Could be a loose internal part. The contacts in
the fob could also be worn. Does the car door
unlock when you’re right next to the car? Signal being sent it could be
weak, or receiver in the car isn’t working right. This is a small radio
signal being sent to the car. Since the code in the fob is specific to your car, it would probably require a dealer to set the code in a new fob-they are not cheap.
