Nissan Altima |
My Nissan Altima had a serious problems when I’m breaking and turning at the same time. It makes a loud whining and grinding noise. The noises only happen when I’m breaking and turning, there’s no problems at all than that noises.
Answer: If there was no problem with braking, I would suspect there would be no noise when you depress the brake. It gets louder when you turn because the wheel, hub, rotor
all flex a small amount when extra side load is applied to them
(turning a corner) . It’s not a wheel bearing, that would probably make
noise without the brake being applied.Bad CV joints make a clicking
noise in a turn. A bad CV boot makes no noise, it just allows the grease
in the joint to escape and the dirt to go in which of course makes the joint fail. Go get your brakes fixed soon!
