Why the brakes on my 1999 Lexus RX300 makes grinding
noise when I pushes it back? Brakes were checked and there is nothing
wrong with it. What can I do to fix this problems? Thank you.
Answer: Your 1999 Lexus RX300 ABS system is kicking in.
If you push on the brakes too hard and too fast, it will push the pedal
back towards you and make a grinding/humming noise in the process. If it does this under normal braking conditions, then you have an issue with the ABS control module or speed sensors.
