Does anyone have 2001 Buick LeSabre Wiring Diagram for the radio, Concert
II sound, Dock & Lock system, Chimes/OnStar goes through the radio.
My friend can’t seem to pinpoint the wires to hardwire the aftermarket
radio in with the OEM interface kit and steering wheel control adapter (PAC SWI X).
Answer: Dock&Lock GMs have a ribbon
cable behind the plug, not colored wires. How is your buddy hard-wiring
it? You can find adapter harnesses that fit the D&L connector;
Scosche’s GM07 is one. When I’ve installed steering wheel control adapters in these vehicles, I’ve usually had to find the wire under the steering column. Use a digital multimeter
and find the wire that changes voltage as you press the control
buttons. Don’t use an analog meter or test light in this area or you may
trigger an air bag.
