How do I access the windshield wiper bushings in my 2002 Hyundai Elantra? My wiper motor still works. I went to the dealership to buy new bushings and they told me just to tighten the ones on there already. They said it was easy to do. I just don’t know how to get to them.
Answer: Pop up the caps
on end of wiper arms,may need to pry up with a screwdriver, at bottom
end, there should be a nut underneath you can tighten up. Make sure
wiper motor is off and wipers are at correct position before tightening.
I’m surprised they didn’t fix for you only take a few minutes, as a
courtesy.
