How do I remove mirror on a 2004 Hyundai Accent? It’s the driver’s side mirror and it’s really loose. It won’t stay up and it’s dangerous to drive with it in that condition. Wondering how to take it off? Do I just snap the mirror out? Or will that break something? Please help.
Answer: It would be safer and less damaging to your car if you remove the triangle of black plastic on the inside of the door
then see if tightening the screws helps hold it in place and will make
it easier to see if there are any screws missing, these can be got at
any auto parts store. If this doesn’t help you may have to remove it by loosening the screws holding it onto the door
and un-clip the wiring, it should come free. All you will need to do
this is a fillips head screwdriver and its easier to remove the inner
cover by rolling down the window so you can get your fingers around the cover easier.
