"2005 Land Rover Discovery Air Spring Suspension Change"

Silver 2005 Land Rover Discovery

Can I change just one air spring suspension on my 2005 Land Rover Discovery or do they have to be done in pairs. Also, how much does it cost to change it to normal springs and is it worth it?
Answer: You can just change one with no adverse effect. Air springs on Disco’s are not like coils, they don’t weaken or deteriorate, they either work or they don’t. With regards converting to coils, the conversion set is about £85.00 but the car has to be put on Rovercom to tell the ECU the air springs have been disconnected. The total cost to have it done is about £200. I would only give carefull consideration though if the compressor had gone (about £250), not the springs. Air suspension is generally only fitted to the 7 seater, coils may not be able to cope with the extra passenger weight.
