Yesterday I found that my 1990 Ford Aerostar check engine light
comes on once in a while, but it doesn’t stay on. Actually it does not
affect the driving ability, but it gets annoying. Does anyone know how
can I find out what’s wrong?
Answer: I think that the old OBD1 systems on your 1990 Ford Aerostar do not have a quick check like the new cars. It takes a special scanner to read those. I would reccomend to you to take your Ford to a shop and let them check it.
