My remote key for 2006 Volvo S60 stopped working all of a sudden. I did not disconnect/changed the battery. When I unlock the car manually, I can only open/close driver’s door. The central working
and alarm do not work either. I can still start the car and turn the
lights on/off with the remote key. I have the only key for the car and I
do not have the code for it. Can Volvo dealer help me? Can anyone else
help me? How much can it be? Thank you.
Answer: Take it to your nearest Volvo dealership. They will charge you approximately $120 to program your current key/fob, and an additional $150 if they have to replace your key/fob. That’s the estimate Park Place Volvo in Dallas, TX gave me for my 2001 Volvo S60.
