Where can I get a tail light lens for a 2007 Volvo S40? I have a busted driver’s side tail light lens on my 2007 Volvo S40. How do I go about getting it repaired? Can I find the part online? Do I have to go through the dealership? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Answer: Well you can go through the dealer, but usually
their prices are a little bit higher than that of an auto-parts store
(O’rielly’s, Napa, AutoZone, Advanced Auto Parts,
etc.) where they could order you one. The only downside of that is you
have to know how to put it on yourself, which usually is pretty easy and
not hard to figure out. A dealership would do it for you, but charge
you a half hour, maybe an hour of labor for 5 minutes of work. As for
getting it online, your best off
to stick with a place that you can return it to, and pick it up
firsthand to make sure its not defective, the right thing, etc.
