| 2008 Toyota Prius Driver Side Mirror |
Recently, the driver side mirror on my 2008 Toyota Prius along with its assembly and attachment broke off. Three unbroken red wires and a purple wire hang out of the area. We recently ordered a new mirror with the whole assembly but would like to know: How do we install it? I do not want to take it to Toyota because we want to save money and fix it ourselves. Also, is it necessary to remove the speaker that is on the other side of the mirror inside the door? Thanks.
Answer: More than likely the speaker is attached to the
inner door panel, the inner door panel will have to come off or loose
enough to get to the mirror location where the mirror just bolts on and the wiring harness from the mirror will just plug into another wiring harness.
