"The Air Conditioning Filter Location on 2001 Honda Accord"

2001 Honda Accord Cabin Air Filter Diagram

Somehow I need to change the air conditioning filter on my 2001 Honda Accord. Does anybody knows where is it located?
Answer: The air conditioning filter is located behind your glove box. It is 2 micron filters about a foot long and 4 inches wide. If you are not familiar with removing dash panels I would suggest paying a shop to do it. The intake (engine) air filter is inside the black box at the end of the tube that goes to the throttle body (the tube is about 4 inches in diameter). Depending if this car is a v6 or 4 cylinder you will either have 4 metal clips or 4 philips head screws. This is very easy to install yourself. Both filters clean incoming air, the a/c one filters the air your a/c circulates in your car, the engine one cleans the air going into your engine. Both should be done about every 30,000 miles if you use Honda filters (not aftermarket). Change them more often if it is very dusty in your area.
