"Air Conditioning Troubleshooting for 1997 Honda Civic"

1997 Honda Civic Air Conditioning Unit Diagram

My 1997 Honda Civic air conditioning is not cold (barely if at all below the current temperature) but the compressor is running continuously as long as the a\c is switched on. When the compressor is on, the low end pressure drops to zero. With the compressor off the low end pressure says its fill according to my gauge. Any ideas about what’s going on?

Answer: The low end (or low pressure side) is going into a negative pressure this could be because your 1997 honda Civic air conditioning is restricted(plugged) or your a/c compressor is going bad. Either way you are going to have to see mechanic who has the tools or knowledge to tell you why.
