| Silver 1988 BMW 325is |
I have a 1988 BMW 325is and my antenna recently, and finally broke. I have a replacement antenna, but I cant get to the back of the stereo to pull out the old antenna cable and put in the new one. can anyone tell me how to get the stereo out, or the dash apart enough to get to the antenna cables in the back?
Answer: If it like the 1988 5 series, there are two little plastic tabs, one on each side of the stereo, that you pry out and then you need to use a special 5 sided allen key to remove the screws behind them. Once the screws are loose, the stereo pulls straight out from the dash.
