How can I replace wiper arm on my 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor? The bearing on the linage is broken. Is it possible to repair the linkage instead of replacing the whole arm?
Answer: I’m not sure if you know what the problem is. The first thing is if you can grab the wiper arm
and move it. If it moves by hand does the other arm also move? If it
does you have a broken wiper transmission and need a new one. If only
one arm moves, take the cap off the arm pivot and tighten the nut with
the arm in the correct position. The nuts do loosen up and it makes for a
painless cheap fix.
