Seeing as how they don’t have a gear box for an 1983 GMC Jimmy because they never had power steering I was wondering if I could use any kind of GMC steering box? any suggestions? and where could I find one new or used? Thanks
Answer: Yes they did come with power steering, the full size and the s-series. You can get really good prices from ROCKAUTO.COM. If it’s a K-series, you have to use a box for a K-series truck, if its a S-series, you have to use a box for a S-series truck.
