Why my 1991 Lexus LS400 windshield wipers continue to wipe even when the wiper switch is off?
Answer: I’ve seen a bad ground cause this problem, intermittently cleaned the battery cables and it solved the problem.
There’s a park switch in the wiper motor that allows the wipers to
return to the parked position before removing power to the motor perhaps
the switch is bad and the wipers are unable to find the parked position
so they just keep running.
