1993 Volkswagen Mk3 Silver Right Side View |
I’m having trouble with my Volkswagen Golf mk3 1993. The oil light keeps turning on when I rev the engine too hard. I’m quite sure I know what the problem is but that’s not what I’m bothered about.
When the light turns on it makes a REALLY irritating beep noise and
want to get rid of it! is there any fuse I can remove to stop it from
flashing/beeping??
These are the fuses its got:
1+2: headlights
3: number plate light
4: break serve pump/rear wiper+washer/ABS
5: wind screen wiper+washers
6 : Blower
7+8: Tail lights
9: Rear window heater
10: Fog lights
11+12: High beams
13: Horn
14: Reverse lights
15: Engine electronics
16: Warning lamps
17: Indicators
18: Fuel pump
19: Radiator fan/air conditioner
20: Brake lights
21: Interior + luggage compartment lights/clock/cigarette lighter
22: Radio

Now there’s obviously some of them that it definitely isn’t, but any idea which one it is?
Answer: Depending what size engine you have, you must remove a wire off the sensor or disconnect the buzzer in the fuse box, a 1.3 engine the sensor is on the cylinder head on a 1-6 or 1-8 its near the oil filter.
