Black 1995 Ford Explorer Front Left View |
I’ve got an 1995 Ford Explorer and my driver side windshield wiper doesn’t work. I’ve tried to remove the arm to access the motor to replace it but i can not figure out how to remove the arm.
Answer: If the
passenger wiper works, your motor is fine. Ford usually have a cap above
the wiper shaft. Remove cap and underneath it is a nut. Remove nut then
remove blade. You’ll probably find that the shaft is worn smooth. There
should be ridges to catch the arm. Use a vise grip to introduce some
new ‘ridges’ to the shaft and hopefully it will hold strong.
