| Red 2002 Ford Mustang Rear View |
I have an 2002 Ford Mustang and I need to replace the rear bumper, wanting to do it myself. Can anyone help me?
Answer: If you mean the rear bumper cover, the painted part, that’s easy they are just bolted on. Get under the car and look along the seams were the bumper cover
meets the car and you’ll probably see the bolts on the left and right
side. Also there might be a few bolts along the the top, you’ll have to
open the trunk and look there too,maybe under some carpeting or trim
that hides them. But that bumper cover should come right off. If you’re taking about the bumper under the bumper cover you have to remove the bumper cover anyway. Then just look for the bolts on either side, the bumper is bolted to two large tube looking things,one on the left and another on the right. This is not a hard job at all. Good Luck
