"1999 Mazda 323: The ABS Light Illuminate Problems"

Silver 1999 Mazda 323 Front Angle View

I have a 1999 Mazda 323 and the ABS, TCS and TCS Light illuminate on the dash board pretty much every time I take the car out. Sometimes they are there within 10 seconds, sometimes they take about 5 minutes to appear. I’ve searched the internet and found other people experiencing the same problem, but I couldn’t find a clear cause and solution. If anyone could offer me any advice or experience I’d be really grateful. Obviously I might just have to take it to a dealership, but I’m hesitant to do that straight away because some of the hits I found on the internet said that the dealerships will just throw parts at the problem without actually knowing what it is and without guaranteeing that the problem will be fixed.

Answer: It could be a major electrical problem or a simple repair such as a vehicle speed sensor. It does need to be diagnosed properly to find the problem. The dealer can do it, but a reputable transmission shop should also be able to diagnose it as well.
