Where is the fuel filter on a 2000 Chevrolet Caviler? I found the fuel line coming from the fuel tank on the drivers side. (At least I think it’s the fuel line) but I can’t find the filter. I did a Google search and found that it’s on the drivers side under the frame, but I still cannot find it after searching along the frame. I’m looking for an online schematic or another good reference I could use to find it.
Answer: It should be
located right below and in front of the left rear tire. You should see
once you jack the car up a can looking like thing which is the fuel filter
laying up against the bottom frame of the car with one quarter inch
stainless tubing going in at one side from the rear forward and out the
other side. Once you find it your gonna have to pull it down after
unscrewing some tubing clamps to give you enough space to take it off.
