I am trying to take out my ecu chip to send in and have upgraded and I have no idea how to do it. How do I remove the ECU chip from a 2001 Volvo s60?
Answer: Volvo dealer should be able to hookup your car
to computer and download the software. It should be simple (yet
expensive). Do it right way. You may want to check to see if this is a
service call (bulletin) and then it will not cost you anything. My
family member had 1999 Volvo S70 and had it done a month ago without any
cost (service bulletin).
