"In-dash GPS Navigation Unit That Will Fit on 2000 Mercedes CLK 320"

White 2000 Mercedes CLK 320

I have a 2000 Mercedes CLK 320 Cabriolet and was wondering what is the best IN-DASH GPS navigation unit would be that can fit. Also, I have buttons on the steering wheel to increase/decrease volume of radio and change radio stations; and was wondering if those buttons would still be able to work on the new system. Thanks for your help.

Answer: I would recommend, instead of an in-dash unit, a portable Garmin Nuvi. You can use it in different vehicles and even in hand as you walk though an unfamiliar town. Once you install the GPS permanently on your CLK 320, when it comes time to update the maps, you need to go to the shop and pay for the technician as well as the update. The Garmin can be updated simply in hand with your computer. You can even buy lifetime updates for under $100. If nothing will do but In-Dash, go to Mercedes and buy what they provide for your model. It will look very good in the dash.
