I’ve problems with my 1993 Lexus es300, there is bad battery ecm malfunction and I get the code p1600. Well I replaced the ecu with another and it runs great now but the alternator light is on? Is there any info why it’s on?
Answer: If the alternator is under 12 volts your
gonna have to replace it, that could be the problem. Unplug the battery
first and see if light comes back on after driving about 10 miles before
you decide to do anything.
