My 2000 Ford F-150
ABS light on and there is a whining noise. How can I fix it? After I
shut the engine off there is something that keeps running and killing
the battery. The ABS light is on and there is a whining noise coming front the front drivers side engine compartment. What is making this?
Answer: Try locating
the fuse for the ABS system. The light will remain on, but if the
whining stops, then obviously it is related, and there is a motor in
that area, and it may be that it is in need of replacement. The other
method is to take it to a tech and have the codes read.
