How do I reset the ecu to my 2001 Nissan Maxima SE? SES light came on and so I brought it to the dealer.
They tried scanning it but they told me the ecu was somehow blocked. So
now they want $80 to reset it. Anyway I can do this myself? If so, then
how? Thanks
Answer: Usually you can reset it by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 15 -30 minutes.
