Can I install ABS Brakes and Air Bags into an 1976 Chevrolet Impala?
Answer: An 1967 Chevrolet Impala is a great car. Congratulations. ABS brakes
are over-rated in my opinion. Just practice pumping the brakes on a
slippery surface. If you know how to pump the brakes when the wheels
lock up, it’s as good as ABS.
The air bag is a big problem. It would probably be a few thousand to have even one installed. These older cars are fun but they are not the safest. Just drive safely (no texting, drinking, hot-rodding, etc)
