Can I replace the ECU on a Ford Focus with the same Model unit. Or does it have to be programmed by a Ford dealer?
Answer: No matter what you have to do, or don’t have
to do, it has to be programmed by Ford, mainly because of the PATS key
system. It’ll hook up and everything will function but the car simply
won’t start.
