Where can I get a replacement key for my 2008 Chevrolet Truck? Lost mine, can dealer make a new one?
Answer: Yes a dealership can make you another key .You will need to have the title to the truck
or a copy of one.The title is mainly for proof of ownership, plus they
will need the VIN to cut the cut. Your looking at around $20 to have the
key made as long as the key doesn’t have a chip in it. If it has a chip
then your looking at around $150 for them to cut the key and reprogram
it, plus you will need to take the truck to them as well.
