How can I remap or reset a Ford Fiesta ECU ? What software and diagnostic equipment do I need ?
Answer: I’m afraid that you cant do an ECU remap on a
car yourself, you’ll need to take it to a ford approved workshop and
get the technicians there to fix it. They should put the latest software on it and hopefully your problem will disappear too! I had my volkswagen
in the garage cause the engine was revving itself and it turned out
mine needed remapped too, had no problems since! As for cost, I’m not
too sure as mine was under warranty. Hope this helps.
