I’m looking for the layout of a Honda p28 ecu. I’m trying to find where the vtec resistor is at within the ecu? I have a Hondata s300 P28 and the vtec wont work. I’ve checked the solenoid and ran the wire back to the ecu and everything is good.
Answer: Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control requires far more than a resistor for it’s operation. I don’t know what solenoid
you checked but I suggest you look elsewhere and not the ecu. “The vtec
won’t work” is a pretty broad statement considering we are working with
multiple camshafts and electronics as well as mechanical parts.
