What is the best way to track down a antifreeze leak in a GMC truck? The water pump is new and the radiator
doesn’t appear to be leaking, yet i have a pool of antifreeze under my
truck every morning. i tried a pressure test and found nothing. whats
the best way to track down the leak without wasting money?
Answer: Have a look at where the pool is for the
general area of the leak. Then lift and inspect closely with a
flashlight. You might not see any wetness, but look for stains
particularly colored orange or green depending on what type of coolant
you’re using. Gaskets and heater connectors are a concern of these types
of units.
