I have a Ford Focus, but the radiator fan keeps blowing fuse after 2 or 3 days. Is it better to install a switch?
Answer: No, you need to replace the fan relay,
that’s what’s causing the fuses to blow out like that. It’s causing the
fan to draw more amps than the fuse will allow it to and all it’s doing
is blowing the fuses to protect the circuit, replace the relay and that
should fix it. I wouldn’t run a extra switch to it not if I could repair
it the right way, good luck.
