"Wheel Bearing Problems on 2004 Buick Rendezvous"

2004 Buick Rendezvous Front Right View

There is a noise in the front of my 2004 Buick Rendezvous. Thought at first it was worn tires. Got new tires for the front and the noise is getting louder. It is worse when I turn the steering wheel to the right and I can feel a slight vibration in the steering wheel. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Answer: From your description of the problem the first thing I would check is a wheel bearing. When you make a turn to the right it applies more pressure to the bad section of the bearing. Jack up the front of the car, support it securely, and grab the top and bottom of the tire. There should be no movement or clunking in the bearing. If you are not doing the job yourself take it in and get it checked and repaired ASAP.
