The newer models of some Lexus’s have started using the mouse for the GPS. The 2010 IS has been released with the standard touch screens already. Are the 2011 Lexus IS models going to be touch or use the mouse control?

Answer: I think the Lexus Sedans will more likely use touch screen LCD GPS systems. The center mouse consoles are being used in the new 2009-2010 Luxury Lexus Crossovers. But there is no telling whether Lexus will decide to use this Center mouse controller in its future or soon to come sedans. In 2011 I’m sure Lexus will have had upgraded their technology and interior designs. The only sedan with this center mouse console in the Lexus sedan lineup today is the all new 2010 HS250 Hybrid. So to answer your question I don’t believe the 2011 IS models will have these Center mouse controllers. If however they do decide to add this feature to the IS,ES,GS,LS it will only or possibly be added to the all new or next generation design of these vehicles, not the current ones. Hope I could Help.
