Sometime when I try to start my 2001 Volvo V70 XC 2.3L, the key just doesn’t want to turn on. Then I try slowly to keep moving it slightly back and forth, and a little in-out moves.. then it start after while. Do I need to replace the switch? I need a suggestion to fix this Volvo car key problems.
Answer: When this happens again to your Volvo V70,
try to slightly turn the steering wheel to the left and right and see if
it makes it easier to turn the key. If the steering lock has some pressure on it will be hard to release, that’s why you need to turn the steering wheel a bit.
