| BMW X5 Airbags |
I would like to put my child’s car seat in the front of my BMW X5. It
is illegal if the car is fitted with airbags to have a child seat in
the front? If so, how do I disable the
passenger side to make this OK. I know some of you are going to say, it
is safer in the back, but I cannot see him, even with one of those
special mirror things you can put in. Thanks.
Answer: You can’t turn it off yourself, the car
dealer has to do it for you – it’s like this on most BMW’s. He’d be
safer in the back anyway.
