How can I open trunk of my 2001 Mercedes Benz CLK430 if out of battery? I forgot to turn off the light yesterday, so it is out of battery now,I have the jumper, but I can’t open the trunk even I have key. Because the battery is in the trunk.
Answer: The trunk has a standard key tumbler as well as the automatic popper. You have to use the mechanical key blade. Put it in the rear tumbler, turn it counter-clockwise, hold it there and push straight in. The trunk will unlock.
