2003 BMW Z4 Check Engine Light |
I have a 2003 BMW Z4 that hand a
minor repair done at home. I need to reset the computer on my car since
my “Service Engine” light is still on. Can anyone help me with this
problems?
Answer: On the most recent BMW’s like the Z4 you will need a computer, but depending on the repair you did, normal everyday driving around for a few days may reset the light. But for the most part you will either need to take the car to a BMW mechanic, or look around online for a scanning tool, you can normally find them on ebay. I will warn you though the scanners are pretty costly, but pay for themselves if you do a lot of DIY.
