I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX 1.8 non turbo. How much power/torque is gained from remapping the ecu?
Answer: Well I think your motor is the RA18 which
wouldn’t be worth it to do in my opinion. You could probably gain maybe
8hp if you had all the bolt-on’s done. The RA18 of course wasn’t really
made for performance where as the civic SI’s like yours with K20′s were
and can benefit a
lot more from re-mapping. Bottom line, you will get more hp but probably not worth the price.
