In my Audi A4 when I turn the
A/C on coolant temperature gauge fluctuates and Radiator fan comes on.
What it could be? Does it comes to expensive repair? Thanks.
Answer: The fan is supposed to come on when you turn the AC on. This helps to cool the high pressure
side of the AC system. The fluctuation in temperature could be a
completely separate issue. May even be just an ECT sensor. It would be
easier if we had more information. Engine size, actual temperatures, is the AC cold, etc.
